The End-Use Market and Export section provides purchases by builders, residential purchases by contractors and homeowners, and commercial markets.  For products used to manufacturer other products, Catalina provides data on original equipment manufacturer purchases.  This section provides data for U.S. manufacturer foreign sales and share of domestic shipments.  The top five countries of destination are provided as well.  Data is compiled and estimated for 1997 to the current year.

The Factors Driving Demand section provides data that correlates market sales to the performance of the overall economy and other factors affecting industry trends.  Market size reports provide data on housing construction and completions, existing home sales, interest rates, homeowner improvement construction spending, and building material dealer sales.  Non-residential building construction spending is also tracked.
